Enquiries about ITP

If you have any difficulty in using ITP services but cannot find the solution from the frequently asked questions, please call the eTAX Help Desk at (852) 183 2011 during the service hours (Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) 8:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.)

You are also welcome to contact the Help Desk by e-mail to etaxhelpdesk2@ird.gov.hk any time. Inland Revenue Department aims at responding as soon as practicable. To facilitate a prompt response, please provide your name and Hong Kong contact number, if applicable, in your e-mail.

Enquiries about BTP and TRP

If you have any difficulty in using BTP & TRP online services but cannot find the solution from the frequently asked questions, you may make an enquiry through the following channels:

  1. For enquiry relating to BTP/TRP account registration, appointment of BTP administrator/ authorized user and service agent, and setup of TRP team etc:
    1. Call eTAX Helpdesk at (852) 183 2011 during service hours [8:15 to 12:30 & 13:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (except public holidays)]. If you want to leave a message for return call, after selecting language, press *7 to leave a message and IRD will call back within 2 working days as far as possible.
    2. Send your enquiry by e-mail to etaxhelpdesk3@ird.gov.hk.

  2. For enquiry relating to other online application services (e.g. e-filing of Profits Tax Returns, e-filing of Employers' Returns, or matters relating to Certificate of Resident Status and Business Registration etc), please send your enquiry via the "Make a Request/Reply" of the relevant matter provided in BTP/TRP.
