The Government is committed to improving management efficiency and optimising city management through leveraging technology. A number of digital government measures are being implemented with the aim to expedite the provision and enhance convenience of e-services provided by bureaux / departments to facilitate the public and enterprises in accessing government services.

"iAM Smart"

"iAM Smart" mobile app provides the one-stop personalised digital services platform, which enables users to log in and use online services by their personal mobile phone in a smart and convenient way. "iAM Smart" users could conduct authentication, digital signing and “e-ME” form-filling functions via this mobile app so that users could easily log in and use the "iAM Smart" enabled online services. Furthermore, users could set up personalised notifications services for receiving government service updates with this mobile app.

CSDI Portal

Being one of the key initiatives under the Hong Kong Smart City Blueprint, the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) has been developed to provide a map-based digital infrastructure as a one-stop platform to link and consolidate spatial data from various government departments, for free public use in a bid to facilitate the development of all kinds of applications by the public.

Open3Dhk

"Open3Dhk" is a one-stop multipurpose platform. Users can quickly browse the 3D digital map provided by the Lands Department using desktop computers or mobile devices through the internet. There are different application themes in the platform that allow users to explore various spatial data in 3D environment. The platform also offers Application Programming Interfaces (API) services for streaming data of 3D Visualisation Map, 3D Indoor Map and Streetscape 360, allowing the innovation and technology sector as well as the academia to utilise the dataset in developing web services or applications.

Multi-functional Smart Lampposts

Visit the thematic web page to learn about the location, applications and devices of smart lampposts.  The implementation of smart lampposts is to promote smart city development with a view to collecting real-time city data such as meteorological, air quality and traffic flow as well as supporting the development of digital infrastructure for 5G services.

Open Data Portal (formerly known as PSI Portal) makes open data available in machine-readable format for re-use for commercial or non-commercial purposes free-of-charge, with a view to facilitating the development of new solutions and innovations, as well as academic research and analysis.

Smart Government Innovation Lab provides a platform to connect government departments with the information and technology industry, particularly local start-ups and SMEs, to help co-create innovative measures for enhancing public services.
