Launched by the Intellectual Property Department, the “Hong Kong - Regional IP Trading Centre” website provides a one-stop shop for IP trading information, training courses and free consultation service with the aim of promoting Hong Kong as a regional IP trading centre.

The Grant aims to encourage local companies and inventors to capitalise their intellectual work through patent registration. Successful applicants can get a grant of not more than HK$250,000 or 90% of the sum of the total direct cost of the patent application and relevant administration fee, whichever is lower.

Trade marks, patents and designs forms can be filed electronically via IPD E-Filing System.
