Youth Employment and Training Programme

The Programme provides on-the-job training to young school leavers aged 15 to 24 with educational attainment at sub-degree or below level. Employers engaging a trainee will be entitled to a monthly training subsidy. Find out more information here.

Employment Programme for the Elderly and Middle-aged

This programme offers employers a training allowance to encourage them to recruit unemployed elderly or middle-aged job seekers who are aged 40 or above, and to provide them with on-the-job training. Find out more information here.

On the Job Training Programme for People with Disabilities

This Programme aims to enhance the employment of persons with disabilities through proactive training. Employers who provide job trials for the disabled will be given a wage subsidy. Find out more information here.

Sunnyway – On the Job Training Programme for Young People with Disabilities

This Programme provides proactive training for young persons with disabilities or early signs of mental illness, aged between 15 and 25, to enhance their employment. Employers who offer a job trial for a participant will receive a wage subsidy. Find out more information here.

Work Orientation and Placement Scheme

The Scheme aims to encourage employers to employ people with disabilities by offering a financial incentive and providing pre-employment training to job seekers with disabilities. Find out more information here.

Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme

This Scheme encourages Hong Kong enterprises having active operation in both Hong Kong and GBA Mainland cities to employ graduates who were awarded bachelor’s degrees or above from 2021 to 2023 according to Hong Kong laws, offer them a monthly salary of not less than HK$18,000 and station them in the Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area to work and receive on-the-job training. The Government will provide enterprises a monthly allowance of HK$10,000 for each qualified graduate employed for a maximum period of 18 months.  Find out more information here.

Working Family Allowance (WFA) Scheme

The Scheme encourages self-reliance and eases inter-generational poverty. A household meeting the working hour requirements, income and asset limits may apply for an allowance.

This Programme targets young people aged between 15 and 20, helping them regain the learning momentum, have the attitude and direction for learning or employment.

Reimbursement of Maternity Leave Pay Scheme

“Reimbursement Easy Portal (REP)” - Online Application

Through the scheme, employers may apply for reimbursement of the 11th to 14th weeks’ statutory maternity leave pay paid and directly submit online applications via the REP.
