Online Supplementary Documents Submission (for Applications Relating to a Visa/Entry Permit)

If you have submitted an application for a visa/entry permit to the following offices (including applications for an entry visa/permit, extension of stay or change of status, etc.) and, upon receipt of a notification letter from the Immigration Department, need to provide supplementary documents for the application, you can use the online submission service:

  • Foreign Domestic Helpers Section
  • Quality Migrants and Mainland Residents Section
  • Employment and Visit Visas Section
  • Extension Section
  • Other Visas and Permits Section
  • Certificate of Entitlement Section (only applicable to applications relating to Admission Scheme for the Second Generation of Chinese Hong Kong Permanent Residents)
  • Admission of Labour Section
  • Top Talent Pass Scheme Unit

How to Submit Supplementary Documents Online

You can submit supplementary documents in three steps.

  1. Scan the required supplementary documents in one of the following formats. Please ensure that the scanned document copies are clear and legible.
    File type: JPEG, PDF, GIF, PNG or TIF (RAW, LZW, JPEG, CCITT-G4)
    File size: 5Mbytes or below for each file
    Colour depth: Grayscale (for documents without photos)
    Colour (for documents with photos)
  2. Enter your application reference number as shown on the notification letter and date of birth into the system.
  3. Upload the scanned document copies.

You are advised to submit the application through your personal computer to minimise the chance of exposing your information to unauthorised people.
