A Certificate of Registered Particulars is a document showing the particulars registered in your identity card records, such as name, residential address, date of birth, place of birth, marital status and name of spouse.

For applications from outside Hong Kong:

Copies of the identity cards or travel documents of the applicant and his/her representative, if necessary.

Written and signed request containing applicant’s name, Hong Kong identity card number, a recent photograph (not larger than 60 x 50mm or smaller than 50 x 40mm) and his/her left or right thumbprint.

(It must be properly authenticated by a Notary Public of the country where he/she resides and clear enough for verification.)

Applicant may still be required to submit further supporting documents and information in connection with the application when necessary.

Acceptable file formats of supporting documents are listed below:

File size: 2Mbytes or below for each file

Payment Method

For all applications (except in respect of a deceased person)

Application fee must be paid at the time of application by paying online through PPS, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay and JCB) or FPS.

For application in respect of a deceased person

Application fee is only payable for approved case.  Applicant will be notified of the application result and payment arrangement.  Applicant will be required to settle the application fee by paying online through PPS, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay and JCB) or FPS.

There is no refund even though the certificate does not serve applicant’s purpose.
