Who Can Use This Service

You can make use of this service to submit application for a transfer of endorsement online if you are:

Persons admitted under the following arrangements / schemes or their dependants

- Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals

 

- Technology Talent Admission Scheme

 

- Capital Investment Entrant Scheme

 

- New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme

 

- Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates

 

- Admission Scheme for the Second Generation of Chinese Hong Kong Permanent Residents

 

- Quality Migrant Admission Scheme

Persons on student status or their dependants

Persons admitted for training or their dependants

(4)

Foreign domestic helpers

(5)

Persons admitted under Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme (formerly known as Supplementary Labour Scheme)

Persons admitted under Special Scheme to Import Care Workers for Residential Care Homes

(7)

Persons admitted under Sector-specific Labour Importation Schemes

(8)

Dependants of Hong Kong permanent residents or residents who are not subject to a limit of stay (i.e. residents with the right to land or on unconditional stay)

Holders of Form ID 235B (Permit to Remain in the HKSAR)

Persons having endorsements of permanent residency

Persons having endorsements of unconditional stay

Consuls/consular staff/officials of international organizations appointed to the HKSAR, or their spouses and dependent children

However, you are not eligible to use the service if:

(1)

you are not physically present in Hong Kong at the time of submission;

(2)

you will not be physically present in Hong Kong at the time of collection of your “e-Visa”;

(3)

your limit of stay has expired.

Documents to be Submitted Online

The documents you need to submit with your online application will depend on your current immigration status. Documents marked with * are mandatory.

Applicant (except holders of Form ID 235B (Permit to Remain in the HKSAR) and consuls/consular staff/officials of international organizations appointed to the HKSAR or their spouses and dependent children)

  • *The applicant’s new valid travel document containing personal particulars, nationality, re-entry visa to the country of residence (if applicable), date of issue and expiry of the valid travel document

  • Loss memo from the Hong Kong police (applicable to applications due to loss of travel document)

Please note that in the online application process, the applicant will be required to fill in an online application form and sign to confirm that all information given in the online application form is correct, complete and true. If the applicant is under the age of 16 (child applicant), the online application form must be signed by his/her parent or legal guardian.

File Formats

Before uploading the required documents, you will need to scan them in one of the following formats:

File type: JPEG, PDF, GIF, PNG or TIF (RAW, LZW, JPEG, CCITT-G4)

File size: 5Mbytes or below for each file

Colour depth: Grayscale (for documents without photos)
                       Colour (for documents with photos)
