SFO E-link services have the following benefits:

    As a registered user of My Applications services, you can save, submit and retrieve online applications anytime and anywhere and upload supporting documents online in addition to submission via mail or by hand.

    By using My Counter Appointments services, you can make online appointments for interviews on matters related to your loan application(s) / collection of cheque(s) and also amend, cancel or enquire your appointments anytime and anywhere.

    As a registered user of My Bills services, you can view all your SFO loan accounts under repayment and other loan account information anytime.

    You can view the status of your applications for all student financial assistance under SFO.

    You can select the repayment period or make a request for lump sum repayment before commencement of repayment.

    You can make online requests for partial / lump sum repayment and obtain information on deferment of loan repayment application procedures and application form.

    You can estimate the financial assistance and repayment amount with the financial calculators.

    As a registered user of My Applications services, you will receive messages in “My Notifications” page in “iAM Smart” mobile app, your MyGovHK message box or your email address registered in MyGovHK after you have submitted your online application. You may check the application summary and application reference number immediately.

    By using My Counter Appointments services, you can make online appointments to reserve your preferred timeslot in advance for interviews on matters related to your loan application(s) / collection of cheque(s), thus saving time from queuing up for the counter service. You can also change or cancel your appointments online. Besides, you may choose to receive email or SMS notification messages from the SFO regarding the confirmation / amendment / cancellation of appointment(s) as well as reminder on upcoming appointment(s).

    As a registered user of My Bills services, you can receive loan repayment demand notes in electronic form. You will receive a message in your MyGovHK message box or your email address registered in MyGovHK when an electronic demand note is issued. Besides, if you have opted to receive SMS notification, an SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number upon issuance of the demand note. This could ensure timely receipt of the demand note.

    You can save time by making online requests for partial / lump sum repayment. The process can be speeded up.
