• If you want to apply for a learner's driving licence, you have to complete the application form TD555.
• You can learn driving in a government designated driving school or with a private driving instructor after obtaining a learner's driving licence.
• Learner’s driving licence is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. You may consider applying for the learner’s driving licence right before your driving training.

• You are eligible to apply for a probationary driving licence within 3 years from the date of passing the driving tests.
• You have to complete a mandatory 12-month probationary driving period before you can apply for a full driving licence.
