BTP Business Account

With a BTP Business Account, you can view business' tax information and access online services under Business Tax Portal (BTP), anytime and anywhere.  It's easy, convenient, and environmentally friendly. 

If you are the Responsible Person (RP)* of the business, you can register for a BTP Business Account, and appoint BTP Administrator to manage the account.  You may appoint yourself and / or others as BTP Administrators (up to a maximum of five per account).

BTP Administrator to be appointed must first register for his / her own BTP User Account to activate the appointment.  BTP Administrator is given the access right to manage the BTP Business Account and conduct all online services under BTP.

Both RP and BTP Administrator(s) will receive notifications after the registration request is approved.

* Responsible Person (RP):

• for a corporation, the company secretary or director
• for a partnership, the partner
• for a limited partnership fund, the general partner
• for a body of persons, the principal officer
• for a sole proprietorship, the sole proprietor

To facilitate the registration of BTP Business Accounts for a group of companies, the common director or company secretary (RP) of the group can make use of the “Bulk Upload” feature in the “BTP Business Account Registration” function.  This allows simultaneous registration of up to 500 BTP Business Accounts (for corporations only) by uploading an excel file.  The RP may assign other persons to prepare the excel file.

BTP User Account

To activate your appointment as a BTP Administrator or BTP Authorized User, you need to first register for your own dedicated BTP User Account.  This user account is for business use and enables access to online services^ under BTP to manage your business(es)' tax or business matters.

Before registering for your BTP User Account, you must possess an Individual Tax Portal (ITP) Account.

Note: The username and password of your BTP User Account must be different from those of your ITP Account through which you handle your own individual tax affairs.

^Subject to the scope of services assigned to you:

• BTP Administrator has rights to manage the BTP Business Account and can access all online services
• BTP Authorized Users' right of access to the online services is assigned by BTP Administrators

Forgot Username / Password

If you forget your BTP username / password, select "Forgot Username / Password" on the BTP login page, and you will be redirected to ITP to authenticate your identity.  

• In the case of "Forgot Username", upon successful authentication with ITP, your BTP username will be retrieved and displayed on screen instantly
• In the case of "Forgot Password", upon successful authentication with ITP, you can reset your BTP password online
