Who Can Use This Service?
You can use this online service after you have successfully made an appointment for giving the Notice of Intended Marriage (the notice) through the Internet or by telephone.More on giving of a Notice of Intended Marriage
Services Available through This Online Service
Using this online service, you can submit online the information required for registration of marriage in advance for shortening the processing time of giving the notice at the Registrar's office. You should submit it at least one day before your scheduled appointment.
You should get ready the following information of both of you for completion of the information sheet “Information Required for Registration of Marriage” (Form MR 21B) online:
- name and surname
- marital condition (i.e. whether you are a bachelor/spinster; widower/widow; a divorced person; or previously married by any form of marriage)
- residential address
- the full name of your parents
- in the case of either party is under the age of 21 – the name, address and capacity of the person consenting to the marriage (i.e. the relevant person or persons specified in the Third Schedule to the Marriage Ordinance)
Part of the information you provided will be used for the preparation of the notice and the marriage certificate. You should ensure the correctness of the information you provided. If the submitted information is incorrect, you can make corrections when you turn up on the appointment date for giving the notice.

Service suspension of Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry
for air-conditioning system replacement works
Services of the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry will be suspended from 5 to 29 April 2017 for undergoing air-conditioning system replacement works. During the service suspension period of the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry, the nearby City Hall Marriage Registry will enhance the marriage solemnisation related services accordingly. Marrying parties wishing to celebrate their marriage at marriage registries may also choose to use the marriage solemnisation service at other marriage registries, including Tsim Sha Tsui Marriage Registry, Sha Tin Marriage Registry and Tuen Mun Marriage Registry. Members of the public wishing to apply for search of marriage records, certified copies of marriage certificates or certificates of absence of marriage record may submit the applications to the abovementioned four marriage registries and the Marriage Registration and Records Office in Admiralty, or by post or through the internet.
Besides, for applicants who have opted the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry for collection of the results in respect of applications for search of marriage records, the certified copies of marriage certificate and certificates of absence of marriage record, they may approach the Marriage Registration and Records Office in Admiralty during the former’s service suspension period to collect these results there.
