The Qualifications Register (QR) is a centralised online database on qualifications, learning programmes and training providers for free reference by the general public.

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism enables employees of various backgrounds to receive formal recognition of the knowledge, skills and experience acquired in the past. Currently, the Pilot Scheme covers only 3 industries, namely Printing & Publishing, Watch & Clock and Hairdressing.

There are currently four financial supporting schemes in place to encourage training providers and employees to join the Qualifications Framework.
