You can make use of this online service to make an appointment for applying extension of stay before visiting the Immigration Headquarters or Branch Offices. You can save queuing time by enjoying 12 working days' advance booking. You can also change, cancel or enquire about the appointment you have made. This article will tell you what you should know before using the online booking service.
You can use the online service to make an appointment to submit the following categories of extension of stay applications.
However, for change of status and other applications for extension of stay, please submit to relevant sections at the headquarters of Immigration Department.
If you know what supporting documents are required, you can now make your appointment online. Otherwise, please check for the details in the paragraphs below.
Please note that you must submit your application for extension of stay before your limit of stay expires. If you contravene a condition of stay (including your limit of stay), you will be liable to prosecution.
To make an appointment, you will need to access the service through the link above, then enter the application reference number of your latest visa, entry permit or extension of stay application and your date of birth. You will also need to input your current limit of stay. If you are a foreign domestic helper or an imported worker whose contract has been terminated before your current limit of stay, you must input the date of contract termination as well.
Please ensure that the information you provide is correct. Incorrect information may render your appointment invalid.

You can select your appointment within the following 12 working days*. The result of the booking is subject to the availability of quota of each office. You can only make one appointment within the 12-working-day* period.
If you are on employment (other than foreign domestic helper or imported worker), student, residence or dependant status, you can select an appointment date up to 4 weeks before the expiry of your current limit of stay.
