Processing Time
Normally, a reply letter to acknowledge the cancellation of the deceased’s identity card and the perforated identity card (if any) will be sent to the correspondence address as provided within 14 working days after all of the supporting documents received are in order.
Further time may be required depending on the complexity of the application, and the number of applications received at the same time.
