The Department of Health provides professional and administrative support to the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong (CMCHK). Views/comments received had been passed to the Chinese Medicines Board under the CMCHK for consideration. After extensive consultation and considering opinions from the Chinese medicines sector, the testing sector and the Chinese medicine academia, the Chinese Medicines Board issued a letter on 16 December 2021 to all licensed wholesalers of Chinese herbal medicines, retailers of Chinese herbal medicines and manufacturers of proprietary Chinese medicines to promulgate the related amendments and implementation measures (letter only available in Chinese version):- |
