For Application for Extension of Stay Already Submitted Online via GovHK

If you have submitted an application for extension of stay for foreign domestic helper online through GovHK and received a notification letter from the Immigration Department to provide supplementary documents to assist in processing your application, you can use the online submission service.

For Other Submitted Application

If you have submitted an application for a foreign domestic helper, you can use the online submission service to supplement the ‘Undertaking of Employer – New requirement for visa application for foreign domestic helper during epidemic situation’ (Please refer here for details).

The following gives you the details about using that service.

How to Submit Supplementary Documents Online

You can submit supplementary documents in three steps.

  1. Scan the required supplementary documents in one of the following formats. Please ensure that the scanned document copies are clear and legible.
    Image type: JPG or TIF (CCITT-G4)
    File size: 5Mbytes or below for each file
    Colour depth: Grayscale (for documents without photos)
    Colour (for documents with photos)
  2. Enter your application reference number as shown on the notification letter and date of birth into the system.
  3. Upload the scanned document copies.

You are advised to submit the application through your personal computer to minimise the chance of exposing your information to unauthorised people.
