GovWiFi - Connection Setup Guide for MacOS

Click "AirPort" icon, select "Turn On Airport" and then select "Create Network".
Select "AirPort" in the left window.
Select "Remember any network this computer has joined", then click the "+" icon.

Encrypted Connection (freegovwifi-e) Setting

Enter "freegovwifi-e" in "Network Name".
Select "WPA2 Enterprise" for "Security".
Enter "govwifi" (without the double quotes) in both "User Name" and "Password".
In "802.1X", select "Automatic", click "Remember this network" and then click "Add".

Unencrypted Connection (freegovwifi) Setting

Enter "freegovwifi" in "Network Name".
Select "None" for "Security", click "Remember this network" and then click "Add".
