This Business Liaison Group (BLG) is a formal forum for billiard establishments, public bowling-alleys and public skating rinks owners, operators or their representatives to exchange views with government representatives on licensing and regulatory matters. The BLG mainly covers Places of Amusement Licence. BLG members are welcome to suggest agenda items on licensing and regulatory matters affecting the trade.

Highlight of Interesting Issues
- According to the Places of Amusement Regulation, the licensee shall allow the licensed premises to be operated between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. If the licensee wishes to operate beyond the regulated operating hours, approval from LCSD via application is required beforehand. LCSD may consider exemptions for applications of extending operating hours on case by case basis.
- According to the Places of Amusement Regulation, persons under the age of 16 can enter the billiard establishments from 10am till 8pm. If the person wishes to enter beyond the specified hours, written permissions via case-by-case application must be obtained from the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services beforehand; Persons in school uniform cannot enter billiard establishments at any time.
