Booking for Annual Vehicle Examination

Commercial and goods motor vehicles in Hong Kong must undergo annual vehicle examinations, and all private cars manufactured not less than 6 years before licensing and light goods vehicles with G.V.W not exceeding 1.9 tonnes are required to receive annual examinations at Designated Car Testing Centres before they can be re-licensed, so as to ensure that the vehicles meet Road Traffic Regulations before licence renewal.

Here you can find out more about booking an appointment for your annual vehicle examination, including what you need to prepare before application, the locations of vehicle examination centres, the documents you need to bring with you and the fees.
