Food Safety Charter

To gear up community efforts in promoting and enhancing food safety, the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) invited members of the food trade to sign up to the Food Safety Charter.

What is Food Safety Charter?

Food Safety Charter has been jointly developed by the Centre for Food Safety and the food trade. Since its establishment, Food Safety Charter has been providing facilitation for the food trade to incorporate appropriate measures in the day-to-day practice, so as to provide innovative and client-oriented quality services well-grounded on food safety to Hong Kong citizens and tourists from all over the world.

Upon signing up to the Food Safety Charter, the signatory is committed to support Food Safety Charter, keep updated on food safety development and promote good image of food trade. Those which have kept up their commitment for three consecutive years will be granted an Award in the Charter.
